Sometimes
Sometimes when the world seems so cold,
There’s only one Light that brightly shines;
When this darkened world makes you feel so old,
Take refuge in our blessed Saviour divine.
When you feel forgotten, forsaken, alone,
When no one around you seems to care,
Jesus – the Lamb – for our sins atoned;
Look to our Lord, He will always be there.
When nothing you do seems to work out right,
When everything you touch turns out wrong,
Just remember Jesus is the only True Light –
He will comfort you, make you feel so strong.
When your heart is burdened with many a grief,
And your ailing health starts to fail,
Jesus will share your pain, and give you relief –
His love, joy and peace will prevail.

John 1:9-12 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Psalms 18:28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
Psalms 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
