What Is Truth?
“What is truth?” asked Pilate;
That’s easy enough, I said.
It is what’s right, what’s real –
These words that I have read.
Truth is God – what He has revealed,
Truth is love that is not concealed;
Truth is God’s promises – He cannot lie;
Truth is Jesus Christ, who had to die.
Truth is honest, pure and lovely,
On these thoughts I must dwell;
Truth is God’s law written in my heart,
The Gospel that I must tell.
Truth is in security, in providence;
My Lord – He is Faithful and True;
I just have to show you how much
God’s own Son loves you.
Jesus gave His life for us –
The Bible tells me this is so;
I gave my life in faith to Him,
That His Truth I might know.

John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
Ephesians 4:20-21 But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
