Nothing But His Love
Like Peter and John, I have nothing,
I don’t even have silver or gold;
But indeed I offer you something
That’s worth more than treasures untold.
It’s the joy in my heart – I give it to you;
The hope stored within – I’ll share it with you.
I may not have much to give.
I tell you, friend, it’s true;
But what God’s Spirit has given me,
I freely give to you.
Look inside my heart – look deep within.
Look past those spots, once stained with sin.
Look at the river of living water,
Flowing so powerfully, yet gently, from His Spirit.
Listen to the beating rhythm of His love;
Sometimes it may seem faint –
But I pray, can you hear it?
