Composed like a Heavenly symphony
in which can be found no wrong,
That my Lord has forgiven me
fills my aching heart with song.
I’ve gladly turned over
that old tattered and torn page;
Jesus has erased all
of my pain, sorrow, and rage.
My once incomplete life is no longer
such a sorry, shameful mess;
He’s replaced my emptiness
with love, peace, and righteousness.
Your awesome Word is written
on my trembling soul.
Until that day
the final trumpet doth toll,
Your kingdom, O Lord,
is what I’m striving for,
